Start-up exposure trip for Kenyan entrepreneurs

The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce (AHK Kenya), in cooperation with the Tech Entrepreneurship Initiative “Make-IT in Africa“ (GIZ), are inviting Kenyan founders and entrepreneurs of Small and Growing Businesses and Startups to a 7-day guided tour to Germany’s startup hotspots in Berlin, Hamburg and the Ruhr area.

As the name suggests, the aim of this exposure journey is to provide the selected startup entrepreneurs an opportunity to display their venture and products internationally and get a grasp of current developments in the market, have a glimpse at the German startup scene and above all have the chance to meet potential customers and investors.

The exposure trip will begin on October 14, 2017 and end on October 21, 2017. 

Startup Entrepreneurs who want to participate should be active in any of the following fields:

  • Energy/Energy solutions
  • Internet of things/ Industry 4.0
  • Logistics/Transport

Closing date for the application is August 26, 2017, whereafter which selected applicants will be invited for an interview in mid-September conducted by a jury comprising of experts from the three fields of interest.
