Construction works in Kiel

The city of Kiel is set to host Europe’s most modern and innovative power station from autumn 2018 onwards, one that will lower the CO2 emissions from the city by some 70 percent. A thermal storage system and electrode boiler are already in place. The next stage of construction is the 20 gas motors, housed in four blocks, which will give the power station its unique flexibility capability.
