Terrorism, tribal conflict and the threat of famine means that the country is facing enormous challenges. Ethiopia's booming textile industry is struggling to find skilled workers. In response, Germany intends to set up a vocational training centre in Mekelle, Ethiopia. Development Minister Gerd Müller, announced the project on April 11, together with H&M and DBL Group from Bangladesh.
